Data Deletion

When a merchant connects their Meta ad account to Ark, we store: the ad account id, name and currency, an encrypted access token, and daily advertising performance figures (spend, impressions, clicks per campaign, ad set and ad). We never store your Facebook profile, friends, posts or any other personal Facebook data.

To delete this data:

• In the Ark dashboard, open Profit & Ads and click Disconnect Meta account. This immediately deletes the stored access token.
• To also remove synced advertising figures, email privacy@byark.appfrom the email address on your Ark account with the subject “Delete Meta data”. We delete it within 30 days and confirm by reply.
• You can additionally revoke Ark's access from the Meta side at Facebook → Settings & privacy → Settings → Business integrations.

Email privacy@byark.app from your account email to request deletion of your merchant account and its data. Order records required for tax and accounting law are retained for the statutory period (see the Privacy Policy, section 6); everything else is deleted within 30 days.

If you bought something from a store powered by Ark, the merchant you bought from is the data controller — contact them to exercise your rights. They can instruct us to delete your purchase data, subject to legal retention duties. If you can't reach the merchant, email privacy@byark.appand we'll assist.
